Your first hour¶

The server runs on Hard difficulty. Mobs hit harder, and an unprotected base can be griefed. This is the quickest way from spawn to a safe home.

Type /help (or /guide). It's one screen with every feature on the server and live stats for your account. Come back to it whenever you're unsure where something is.

2. Teleport into the wild¶

Spawn is protected, and you can't build near it. Type /rtp and choose Overworld Teleport to land somewhere random in the wilderness.

World	Claims	PvP	Resets	Unlocked at
Overworld	yes	off	never	from the start
Nether	no	on	monthly	vote tier X
The End	no	on	monthly	vote tier XX
Legacy World	no	off	never	from the start

The Legacy World is the old 1.21 CarbonCraft map, kept as a museum. You can explore it in adventure mode but can't build there.

Build your base in the Overworld

Nothing in the Nether or End is safe, and both are wiped every month.

3. Claim your land¶

Nothing you build is protected until you claim it.

The first chest you place automatically claims a small area around it.
After that, hold a golden shovel and right-click two opposite corners to claim more.

You start with 100 claim blocks and earn 100 more per hour you play. See Claiming land for the full guide.

4. Set a home¶

Stand in your base and type /sethome. From then on, /home brings you back. Vote tiers raise the number of homes you can set.

5. Make some money¶

You start with $200. Prices are set by players, not by the server: sell what you dig up at your own chest shop, or buy what you need from someone else's. Type /shophelp for a step-by-step guide to setting up a shop, or read Money & currencies.

6. Vote every day¶

/vote lists the voting sites. Every vote counts toward your vote tier, which brings free money, claim blocks, homes, warps and access to the Nether and End. Voting on all six sites in one day also pays CarbonCoins. See Voting & vote tiers.

7. Check your daily stuff¶

/quests opens daily quests, monthly quests, story quests and your daily login reward. Claim the login reward every day to keep your streak.
